Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Aikido

with Tony Smibert Shihan, 7th Dan

60 years ago, Tony Sensei stepped foot into the dojo for the first time and since then he has touched countless Aikidoka across Australia and around the world with his dedication to the art of Aikido, passing on his skills and knowledge with passion and precision.

We are so lucky to have Tony Sensei reside in Tasmania with us.

There will be Aikido practice with Smibert Shihan Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning in the Tenchi Farm Dojo with an additional class on Monday night in Launceston.

Please join us for some amazing Aikido, forest walks, sauna, outdoor baths, Saturday night social dinner around the campfire and of course our traditional chips and gravy lunch under the cherry blossoms on the banks of the Meander River in Deloraine on Sunday.

Training will continue with another class on Monday 16th in the UniGym in Launceston.
